Don't lose valuable files! Login to your volume on the server. Here's how:
- With the Finder active, from the Go menu, select Connect to Server,
- In the Connect to Server window that opens, next to the "Address:" field, type afp://192.168.1.2. Click Connect.
- In the authentication window that appears, type your username and password for the server.. Click Connect.
- Select your name from the list of names and click OK. You should now see an icon with your name on the desktop. Save your files to your documents folder.
- When you are done, dump the icon onto the eject button on the dock to log out.
